Over-the-top Floral Halo

Friday, October 30, 2015

We love the southern tradition of bridal portraits prior to the wedding day for many reasons ... it's great for a trial run on hair & makeup, the opportunity to display a portrait at the wedding, and the ease and relaxation that a bride feels on her portrait day.  This bride was no exception.

We loved creating a smaller version of our bride's day of bouquet but we were jumping up and down to make this over the top garden rose halo for her portraits.  Such a fun accessory!

Breathtaking Views at Big Sky Event Hall

Friday, October 23, 2015

One of our favorite views is at Big Sky Event Hall and this wedding was nothing short of breath taking with the beautiful pastures and lake in the background.

The flowers include juliet roses, dusty miller, white stock, astilbe, and spray roses.  We especially loved the dramatic floral on the wedding cake.

Blush and Lavender at The Piazza in the Village

Friday, October 16, 2015

Pretty blush and lavender graced this traditional wedding at The Piazza in the Village.  Our bride wanted simple centerpieces with a little bit of a wild flower look ... sweet and simple.

Flowers included lavender roses, white lisianthis, blush spray roses, purple wax flowers, purple stock, purple veronica, and a variety of greenery.

Navy & White Gingham Southern Charm

Friday, October 2, 2015

Carmen Dorsey with Bridal Bliss Consulting invited us to participate in this styled shoot earlier this year.  She combined southern charm and rustic elegance with the sweet bride and our dashing cowboy groom.

Navy and white were a crisp color combination against the dried leaves and grass of 1899 Farmhouse in Princeton, TX.  We loved adding touches of gingham and lace peeking out from the bouquet and centerpieces.  Pops of peach from fresh fruit added vibrance and life to the surroundings.
