Vivid Purple at The W Hotel: Part 2

Friday, September 25, 2015

This wedding was so stunning that we had to divide it into two posts!  You can view the FIRST post HERE.

The reception was held at the top of the W Hotel with a high rise view of Dallas.  The room was filled with vivid purple and bright green to contrast with the utilitarian colors of the city.

Focusing on clean ling designs, we create both tall and low pieces for the guest tables as well as some fun modern twists for the intimate seating area.

Check out the ceremony and personal flowers HERE!

To say we loved this wedding would be an understatement of the century!  Thanks so much to Rachel Reeves Events for bring such a stunning bride to us!

Vivid Purple at The W Hotel: Part 1

This wedding was so stunning that we had to divide it into two posts!  You can view the SECOND post HERE.

With the ceremony and reception at the W Hotel in downtown Dallas, the backdrop was already amazing.  Add to it bold pops of purple and green, a team of outstanding vendors, plus a stunningly gorgeous bride and groom who are so in love ... and you have magic.

The ceremony space consisted of a lucite arch top provided by Propmaker Luxury Event Rentals with an all white floral arrangement that include sprays of phaeleonopsis orchids.  We added to two bold arrangements at the bottom of the stage.

Stay tuned for the reception HERE!

Garden Wedding in the City

Friday, September 18, 2015

A garden wedding filled with bright blooms and sweet love under the trees of Marie Gabrielle in downtown Dallas?  Yes, please!  The scene would be unusual in the middle of the busy city, but for this bride, we made it possible.

She choose shades of pink with an emphasis on bright, bold fuchsia.  Her bouquet was packed with garden and spray roses of every shade with pops of white peonies.

We constructed the ceremony space from three vintage doors with floral touches across the top.  A contrasting element to the bold lines of the city in the background.

The long guest tables were filled with an array of containers and candle holders overflowing with bright blooms against the neutral tablecloths.  Any guest would have been wowed walking up to this surreal scene in the city.  Just imagine it when the sunset!

Scottish Rite Open House

Friday, September 11, 2015

We were asked by the amazing Rachel Reeves of Rachel Reeves Events to participate in this open house at the historic Scottish Rite Temple in downtown Dallas.

We filled with room with bright, happy, spring blooms in oranges, pinks, yellows, and lush greens.  The effect was lovely in the daylight and romantic in the evening.

It's amazing what some uplights and pinlights can do for your decor.  The photos below are the perfect example why you should always include lighting for evening events.  Lighting by Astounding Sounds.

Special thanks to Kelly Alexander Photography for the stunning photos!

Southern Wedding at Southfork

Friday, September 4, 2015

This wedding was a long time in the making!  We met our sweet bride and her mother well over a year before the wedding . . . well, it was worth the wait, because this one is stunning.

A gorgeous southern wedding filled with all of the romantic southern staples ... Southfork Ranch (yes, from the show Dallas!), full lush blooms, horses, and a beautiful shady lane to stroll down.

We loved all of the details throughout this wedding and the photographer, Clint Brewer, knocked it out of the park with this one.

Flowers include garden roses, spray roses, peonies, hydrangeas, hanging amaranthus, and lots of greenery.
